I know a lot of people in Pakistan are curious to know the exact launch date of the new Honda City 2009.
So now it is confirmed, Honda City 2009 is being launched in Pakistan in February of 2009.
A review of Honda cars in Pakistan in general, and Honda City in particular is coming up here at CarAdvice.pk, and if it is anything like the Suzuki Mehran review, you guys better stay tuned. 
You can book the new Honda City for PKR 1,052,000. The engine size (and the engine technology) seems to remain at 1300 CC. (As opposed to the anticipated 1500 CC only).
Honda City 2009 is definitely more pleasing to look at as compared to the current City that you see on the road nowadays. The backside of a bus looks more pleasing than the current City, but let us leave that for another post

This car is great, I am driving it at the moment and very satisfy. Never have such a great shape in city before. Great interior, comfortable seats, fuel efficiency and Cruise Control….I am very sure that there will be many on roads right after its release. but the main prob is that of the engine
they r fitting it with the old engine
where the rest of the world is fitted with a 1.5 i vtec, brand new engine
n we r getting the old bongus engine of old city
but i like everything else bout the car

So, the wait is over, i just received a call from my showroom, from where i booked my new city, 2009 that the launch date of the new city, 2009 is January 31, 2009 and display of the same has also been arranged.
So, only 2 days are rest for the boost.

Its good but too much expensive than previous model. Its price in mannual model is Rs 1319000.

I am an admirer of Honda technology,having used Honda City 2005 & 2006 models.I intend to buy 2009 model too shortly.As a retired mech.engineer I have critically examined the latest model and guess that model could be improved.Shortcomings observed
are :-
a) Front lights,stream-lining of bonet is ok.screen opening in
Front bumper could be redesigned to prevent some flying
insects going inside during cruising.
b) Rear boot looks a bit higher.Triangular pointed shape of
Sides of back lights do not please eyes.It could be given a
gentle curve instead of pointed shape.
c) Price has been shot from Rs.1,052,000 to 1,319,000 which
is hell of a rise.

i like too much honda city 2009 but i m not able to purchase this car actu i wanna start bussniess of car service from karachi to hyderabad and also have good plane for future car service but i have no finance to start this bussniess i m very poor & needy if all of u can help me .
