But the aesthetic stylings are, you are right, almost a ripp off. And I think the Accord personality was gone with the last year's Accord (the one being manufactured here in Pakistan). That Accord looked like an old woman. (they did try to play around with the lights, tightening them up, almost like a cosmetic surgery :P ) ... This new accord is not an accord at all. Even though it retains the trade mark look up front the rest of it seems borrowed from BMW's trash bin. Its humongous, bulky, ungainly unlike accords of the past that have more or less been svelte in comparison to the competition. Case in point the CL-9, a thing of beauty both to behold and to drive. I don't know how this new accord drives but i find myself disappointed at the effort by Honda to make it look like a poor man's bimmer (the butt end is almost a carbon copy of the latest 5 series), in the process letting go of the quintessential accord personality.
