This will be convenient for the police and the public too. Secondly, is it mandatory to carry the registration book with a car ?? and is it an offence liable to be charged?? The problem in carrying the original book is fear of theft or loss. I think if a person is carrying his driving licence and his identity in the shape of his NIC, he should be let off and not charged for a traffic violation. At the most he can be asked to produce his registration book within a specified time period. I would request some traffic police person to guide me in this regard.
