1. CNG
CNG stands for Compressed Natural Gas and is used as fuel for vehicles. It is placed on 'top of' standard petrol (or sometimes diesel) engines, making it a very popular choice for people as it is not only friendly for the environment(lesser emissions), but also friendly for one's wallet (much cheaper than petrol or diesel).
Check out CarAdvice.PK's Car Technologies section on information on how CNG works.
